Best way to earn Steel as fast as possible?

I want the "Death Mist" (i think its called lol) execution effect but i only have 2k Steel.

Technically speaking, the fastest way to grind anything (steel, XP, whatever) is to get three friends, group up, and play PvAI (matchamking on) Tribute. Played properly you can finish a match in less than three minutes (sometimes less than two minutes), and the rewards are decent, so you can cycle through the matches very quickly.

I would consider saving your steel if you care about executions, as new ones are incoming.

None of my friends play For Honor, they tried the beta and after but then quit.

Basically just do all the orders.

Doing both of the daily orders a day results in 1k steel a day already. Factor in the bidaily orders and match rewards, and you can get the Death Mist effect for one setting in less than 5 days.

To get it for all three settings (Idle, Execution, and Emote): It will take less than 15. If I were to give an estimate, I’d say 10-11 days.

It is a grind, but not really that bad of one. Especially considering you can complete these orders in an hour or two of playtime for each set of bidaily orders, and only 20-30 minutes for each set of daily ones.
