it depends on your patience i guess? You just have to unlock heroes at a slower pace compared to other editions...It isnt bad, it's just slow :P

I bought the cheapest version, and I did not regret it. You can unlock all of them anyways with steel (in-game currency).

Not for people who like to level and customise each of their characters one at a time.

Bad for people who don't like the first three characters and need to spend 8+ hours to get enough steel to unlock someone else.

i bought the starter edition last sunday, been playing Kensei and having a blast.

i guess it depends if you like any of the 3 basic vanguards... otherwise i heard you have to grind a week's worth of contracts to unlock each character.

Don't forget the 3 other heroes from your chosen faction that are playable but not customizable. (Until you buy them that is.)

Starter edition is best choice however if you like adaptable heroes and have time to grind alot for the rest.
If you plan to buy on steam/uplay I think its good deal right now.
