Having Champion Status speeds it up considerably, and will do so even more after the launch of Season 6.
If it's available, make sure to take advantage of any double-XP weekends/events.
Obviously make sure you complete every possible order with the hero you're trying to rep up.
The most time-efficient way to grind XP is to get three friends and play PvAI Tribute with matchmaking on. If you all are competent and do your jobs, you can finish each match in less than three minutes and get decent rewards for it. Make sure all four of you have Champion Status for an up-to-40% XP boost.
Case Study: After the launch of Season 4, there was a double-XP weekend. I took Aramusha from Rep 0 to Rep 11 in about two days by grinding PvAI Tribute with three other folks when all four of us had Champion Status.
So even without a double-XP weekend you could probably do 5 reps in a weekend with committed grinding. Just make sure you like the people you're grinding with, because it does get tedious.
That's why PvAI-yes-matchmaking Tribute is so good for this. It has decent rewards and a very low completion time when done well.
Bear in mind that rewards are also (somehow, nobody really knows) tied to your in-match performance. So if you have good match performance, you'll get more rewards in excess of the baseline than you would if you play like a tree stump.
In terms of players to watch, it kind of depends on what you want to see and what sort of things / heroes you want to learn. Clutchmeister[www.twitch.tv] is probably the highest-level regular streamer and one of the best players in the game. If you can get past his, uh, "personality," then it can be a good stream to watch to see how competitive players play the game. And as long as you don't act like a neanderthal in chat, Clutch is usually willing to answer questions about the game, as well. Beyond that, it kind of depends on what all you're looking for in terms of character and content. To my knowledge there aren't a lot of great instructional YouTube videos that are up to date and cover an entire hero, so it's more about finding a YouTuber or streamer who is into whatever you're into and just watching them play the game.
There are also some discords kicking around out there, some of which are more competitive than others, and some of which are more civil than others.
A small, fairly civil, mostly-intelligent-conversation discord that I run.[discord.gg]
For Honor Legends[discord.gg]
There are also some discord links on the main subreddit and the competitive subreddit sidebars, I believe.
Many content creators and streamers have their own discords, as well.
YouTuber "EFB" has some videos on Aramusha (which I learned yesterday courtesy of another poster here). I don't know if he's actually any good, but they might be good introductory videos if nothing else. Worth taking a look, at least.
cant play comp. game because idk hot to earn reputation 1
I cant play mm games, because the game dont allow me to play it it says dat i need reputation 0 and 1 to play mm,i can play only wars(4v4) and duels(1v1 and 2v2)
And 1 more question,i've got 2 small chests left to my money(steel) what is it? how can i open it or what can i do with it?
I think you cannot play the ranked matchmaking modes until you have Reputation 1.
Your account reputation is shown in the top left corner of the main screen. It looks like a little wreath with a number.
The chests / crates are gear boxes. To open them, open the character menu, pick a character, and select "Scavenge Gear" or something like that, I don't remember the exact name. The crates that you see next to your Steel total are "Premium Crates" that you have for free, so you can open them without paying steel.
