Game Just Uninstalled Itself
None of my Steam games were working, so I restarted my PC, only to find that For Honor uninstalled itself somehow.

This isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ normal right?

Sometimes Steam freaks out and thinks that your games aren't installed. The files are actually all still there in your computer. Try to reinstall the game. Steam will rediscover the files and you shouldn't have to download anything.

It's happened to me before, and as you said, I could reinstall it in a few minutes. But when I try to install For Honor, it's like I have just bought it, and I have no files for it. Just very annoying because I have a very low download speed.

Oof. Sorry man, I don't know what to do if that's the case. Maybe you can try starting the game directly from UPlay?

I'm having this issue now in 2020. Why was this not fixed?

1. Check the post date my dude.

2. This is most likely just Steam bugging out and thinking the game is uninstalled when it isn't, just try reinstalling and it should say locating existing files or something like that and it should "reinstall" in a few minutes. Otherwise you likely have some kind of computer virus.
