how can i fix chat?

every game i play my chat ♥♥♥♥♥ up. i cannot see chat. cant talk in chat. cannot use quick chat. ive tried tabbing out but that dosent fix it.

Chat is disabled by default (stupid decision, I know). You can set it to be enabled to all players by default in the settings.

i cannot even see help signals in the chat.

That's a glitch I had a lot, never knew what fixed it, but it stopped happening at some point.
It usually worked well and then after a few matches the chat would disappear, no way to talk, no way to use quickchat or even see it. I thought it was fixed for everyone.

my chat ♥♥♥♥♥ up when i die for the first time in the match. when the game is over it comes back and i can read anything anyone said

Make sure to set chat privacy (F9 key) to desired channel; Team, All, and off I believe.

And if you read my comment completely and was able to comprehend it in anyway, I added the detail that the key is F9. If you are such an ungrateful little child, why don't you go cry to your mother and ask her for help with this game for adults.

ive said in this thread that the problems is not that my chat is off. its something else so you dont need to tell me that to change chat you need to press f9 (i already know that too)
