What's with the dumb 2v2 etiquette?
Like the title says, I don't understand why people still follow this pointless code of 'Honor' when you are literally trying to murder each other. It's 2v2 for a reason, there is supposed to be the added threat of another person on your back. So why create an etiquette that destroys the gamemode and basically makes it a 1v1, twice. Usually myself and my teammate follow the 'rules' which are incredibly arbirary and subjective (they change slightly game to game), yet in the final round the enemy team either pop revenge or just jump us. Then they talk ♥♥♥♥ and leave and that's that. Waste of time. Hell sometimes my opponent will pop revenge, my teammate won't notice it, so when I retaliate next round, he lets me get jumped by 2 people and calls me a scumbag. All in the name of 'Honor'. This games community takes the moral high ground ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to a new level. Who's idea was it to make up these stupid rules in the first place? Was it always this pathetic?

Look out for yourself and your own fun, because other people won’t. If you had fun in a match then no matter what happened it’s gg (unless someone had third party hacks). It’s not your responsibility to babysit anyone else’s leisure time, and if someone else tries to tell you that you’re playing the game wrong, because they can’t enjoy it unless you do what they want, tough ♥♥♥♥; Your money, your time, your game.

Well just play the game how you want to play.

i don't care what other people think.

that said it matters not as I am prestige 0 and keep going against teams that actually have numbers, while my team has none.

Matchmaking is broken.

This basically. If you want to, ask how they want to play beforehand. If no one clarifies how they want to play then all bets are off.

If someone is a jackass after you be "dishonorable" even though you didn't agree on a playstyle then that's his/her problem.

I read about how people get mad about 2v1 and what have you, but isn't that the point of a multiplayer game? Why wouldn't I play with my teammates?

Crazy!

This is why I usually avoid playing Brawl. It's the most toxic game mode by far. You are more likely to get in argument there than anywhere else in the game. The fact that it allows you to choose between being "honorable" and not is the problem.

If the developers made it so people knew how they should play the mode this wouldn't be happening. This is also why you almost never see complaints about ganking in dominion or tribute, since it's clear that being honorable is not the point of the gamemode. But in modes like elimination and brawl, where you have combatants set one against another seperately, it's not clear what you are supposed to do, hence all this mindless arguing about how you should play the game.

In general I avoid ganking a lot, not because I want to be honorable but because I don't really want to piss people off. If they have their chat open, even better, I just ask them if we are going to be ganking or not and that's it. That aside I just go with the flow. If they are ganking I'll gank as well, if they are not, I won't either.

Its the most salt inducing one, specially against certain usual 2 French players who play glad+shaman and hate conq for some reason, they also say ez without understand English on a basic and just camp ledges, of course they got no chance against ledgeconquerer.

This again? Some people want to gank and 2v1 as soon as possible. Some people want to allow their teammates/opponants to fight fairly. Neither way is against the design of the game mode. Both are possible. Me personally, I see no skill whatsoever in ganking 2v1. If you want to do it though, go ahead. Nothing is stopping you.

meh find a mate for 2 v 2 and do proper 2 v 2 if they need honor let them play 1 v 1. game mode says it al 2 players fighting other 2 players and in war there is no rules exept in dumb peoples heads who scream there is no honor in that.
Rotiart Apr 7, 2018 @ 5:03pm
Personally, I follow a loose code. I don't gank, ever, simply because I find it unfun to be on either side of it, but aside from that everything, including enviros are fair game

Thats the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point of 2V2s
its called 2V2 not 2V1 for ♥♥♥♥ sakes

If you want to gank like the ♥♥♥♥ you are then personally ask ubisoft to add a 2V1 gamemode c;

Honor, what do you know about Honor? You, the one that has never faced true fear. Learn what honor is before pretending you are a warrior...

Its called brawl for a reason... And nothing in the description about the gamemode indecates it should be played like that. Stop being entitled about some made up bs and let people have their fun.
