Is Highlander compensating something?

Highlander looks like somebody around 6 feet/180cm and yet his Claymore is huge in compare to him. As much as I know from wikipedia Claymore shouldnt be that big.
Does highlander have some equipment size insecurity that he has to compensate with Claymore that is 15-20% bigger than historically should?

Highlander is actually not quite as tall as he looks like; Centurion and Warlord for instance are actually taller than him so that might be a reason

True however I'm unsure if even 5'2f /158 cm would be short enough to make this sword look so bug in compare to his heigh.

Another reason is probably that historical accuracy isn't exactly a 100% priority

If I were a designer for this game I also would've made Highlander wield such a ginormous sword so he's basically 11 on a scale from 0-10 concerning the sword wielding heroes in the game (Warden, Kensei etc.)

I know the Warden's longsword is too long to be accurate (a longsword is one-handed). I think the Warden is using a claymore, and they had to give the Highlander something like a zweihander to compensate.

A claymore is a like 5 foot long sowrd it doesn't appear to be bigger than his body if another it is slightly shorter(like a foot shorter).

I dont know how game officially calls his sword but it looks almost like Baastard sword.

You mind inaccuracy... in a game that is almost fully inaccurate? I mean, this is a game about the world mashing together and letting Knights, Vikings and Samurai to fight.
