Is game worth it for Single Player campaign or Story?

Not interested in online play and heard there is a single player campaign available, is this correct and is it worth it? If it does have single player campaign what edition do you need to buy to play it? Thanks

No, absolutely not, do not buy this just for the campaign.

The campaign is a glorified tutorial (and an outdated one) with a very short and simplistic story you'll forget as soon as you're done with it.

You can play all gamemodes vs Bots if you want to though... but this is still designed to be a PvP experience overall IMO.

Anyway, to give you the info you asked for, any edition will come with the Campaign.

Playing against only bots if you don't want to PvP really isn't that bad, I do it when I'm watching something else and just want to play something at the same time. It is too expensive for purely the singleplayer campaign.
You can do the whole campaign on any edition of the game.

Still havn't bothered to finish the campaign myself, definitely not something to buy this game for.

Campaign is pretty barebones and not much more than an elongated set of basic tutorials.

At the same time kind of pointless as a tutorial, it does not prepare you like it should due to running vanilla/un-reworked version of the game.

Story is very lackluster, though if you have internet, you're able to play against bots in online game modes that are pretty fun.

I bought this for the campaign story and it is AMAZING ! One of the BEST co op plays I've had due date.

Less than 10 hours to complete but pure fun . I highly recommend it !
I also bought dlcs and never used them just kept on playing the story !
