just dodge the shield bash, just like any other character
How win again vortinger ?
Uninstall For Honnor.
Speed isn't how you justify a characters strength.
Look at Nobushi, Lawbringer, and even Warden. What's strong about them isn't speed. Its there punish, mind games, and ability to be punished.
Vortiger is overpowered because his bash has 500 ms recovery. I've said it since he came out. Needs to be 700.
Combine that with tracking heavies that track range, not just side, and you have a very stupid character called Vortiger.
Also his crushing counter lights feel like they have a larger timing than others. Don't know if its true though.
Lights have 300ms active Superior Block, for comparison, Highlander has 300ms as well and WL has 200ms.
No idea, they do less damage than other lights when Superior Block was used (from 15 to 20, HL gets from 15 to 30).
On a side note, if they decide to remove the 200ms extra recovery when switching guard as static guard, these Vortiger lights will become super annoying to deal with if he mixes them up with normal paries, basically making heavy into GB a gamble, is he going to try and parry or simply superior block?
