DLC between uplay and steam

Hello, i have bought for honor normal edition last year here on steam. i have seen that the marching fire expansion is on sale on the ubisoft store but not here. is there a way to buy the dlc on ubisoft store and have it in the game or it's impossible and i have to buy it full price here on steam?

Best is you buy DLC from the same store.
Since you own steam version, you should buy DLC on Steam too.
Tho you might want to ask this on the sub forum [Player Support]. Ubi will actively answer your question.

I have steam version For Honor and bought Marching Fire DLC in Uplay.It works. +You can use additional 20% discount for 100 Uplay points.

Technically it would still work because for honor and the dlc share the same uplay account and thats what matters.
