Forhonor.exe error referenced memory could not be read 0x0000

I need some help please. The last time i played For Honor was around 2017. I played the game for a total of 70 hours. Just yesterday, i came back wanting to play the game but unfortunately it crashed during startup so i turned off my pc and planned to fix it the next day, which is today. However, now its a different kind of crash. It crashed on the splashscreen and theres a dialogue box saying " the referenced memory could not be read" i have tried
- updating the drivers (which made my computer crash midway)
- run the exe file and uplay as admin
- disabled antivirus
- verified game files
- reinstall/install
-did the sfc scannow thing on cmd
- increased the virtual memory

Pls help
