I can't do anything anymore
At the risk of being told to get good i can't do anything in this game anymore.
I have 254 hours in the game, and while i wouldn't claim that i was ever amazing at it suddenly i am completely ineffective in every single fight.
Am i a victim of over optimistic matchmaking?
Is there a certain point where some players just aren't allowed to play anymore?
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I used to blast through most of the contract orders in one session, now i usually expect to complete a takedown order in 3-4 days with 1 or 2 takedowns per Dominion match. My strategy now is to try capturing empty points rather than try and take anyone on, or act as a distraction in other ways, i play Dominion as it gives me something to do, the other modes are just impossible now.
Starting to feel really demoralised.

I get this periodically, where every game I get into I just get crushed. I'm not sure if it's matchmaking, or I'm just having a bad day. I usually do orders vs AI and take a break. I'll give it a day or two and try PvP again, and usually do much better.

Now, in Dominion specifically, you might want to be more obnoxious. Go with your teammates for ganks, taking care not to feed revenge. It beats being on your own and getting ganked instead.

Also, try different characters. It can make a huge difference. I wouldn't worry too much about tier lists - you'd be surprised. It's more important to have fun with what you're playing.

I'm aware of what's on them but i'm not bound by them, i have a history of using bad characters in fighting games because their personal appeal is more important to me :P, which is why most of the characters i've used are knights.
Gladiator update, surprise i'm terrible, the only kill i've had so far today is a push off a ledge.
I'm not sure what his approach is, stuns don't give you anything, skewer gets parried 100% of the time, i keep getting hit out of his dodge and he's bad at killing the ai troops, at the moment i'm just using his light pokes but if i'm going to do that i might as well use PK.
(also a LB just chased me down so, slowest Assassin on the planet?)

Well it's mostly useful for ledging and fishing parrys (or deflects) when someone knows which side you're attacking from and tries to get off a parry

All you have to do is feint until there's no tomorrow and let it fly sometimes, applicable to all characters really, but glad has extra stamina to make it more viable. Again, skewer can be used by deflecting an attack so there's another way.

Well that's not really what his job is, he's more of a duelist and plays a support role in 4v4s

Yeah, his speed is one of his downsides, but it can be counteracted by using the appropiate skill and putting points into the stormwind (or whatever it's called in EN) perk.

Watch some Youtube videos about the character you wanna main. It doesn't sound helpful but it worked for me when I played Kensei and Shaolin. Also try playing a bit in training.

It's not you, it's the games Matchmaking that does this from time to time. It's never based on your actual skill; it's a variation on the Dynamic Difficulty that publishers like to put in their game to promote microtransactions and similar. Shouldn't be in this game since Pay-To-Win isn't a thing unless you want to argue that some DLC heroes are Pay-To-Win.

What the Matchmaking does is matching you up against players that are better than you and in PvAI the AI will change up it's difficulty on purpose (example a Lv. 2 will fight like a Lv. 3).

I've had a lot of matches where I'm matched against players that automatically counter everything you try against them and then some where I curbstomp opponents with ease. It's like the Matchmaking intentionally makes you frustrated so that this can later be spread onto other players.

You're forced against 1000+ players that can counter anything on reaction (insert "just predict bro" meme) on purpose, the matchmaking is not and has never been fair.
Be careful not to be near a leaky microwave bro, wouldn't want your tinfoil hat to melt your brains further.

@OP:
Sounds like you are either outright lieing, derping obscenely hard resulting in PEBKAC, or possibly getting matched up against opponents outside your area resulting in latency shenanigans.

I do get this on occasion, i get this feeling that i need to lose 6+ matches in a row before my hidden skill level comes down, then for 1 match everyone on the opposing team is new to the game spamming attack buttons and not much else.
It's just a feeling, but if such a system is in place it would be nice if it matched me with people who aren't godlike :P.

This could be legit. I am now on losing spree all time, where my oponents can parry everything that I and my random team mates are throwing, when 3 days ago I was destroying everyone.
