dude stop making mordhau like its 1person u can play it both. 3rd 1st
the thing is; i love to be able to make my character from scratch, make it work somehow in some weird way, and see myself rise through my efforts with my own idea's.
for honor doesnt do that, yes you can make weird builds with perks but its all just so very limited and in some regards mordhau isnt different in that you need to feint and stuff to make anything work, but still, its a bigger playground on just that.
MECHANICALLY speaking for honor is better.
having throws, bash's, command grabs, guardbreaks and hyper armour (yes mordhau has armour but its more like "how thick do i want my paper mache today hmmmmm") is good, i only feel that the chambering in mordhau would act be a nice addition to for honor in some way....also i once had the idea of making all blocks reflex (like in mordau) but i digress on that.
if for honor had a hero that you could customise at the expense of in-depth specialization (like goki being a trader) than i would drop every other game in a heartbeat.
Duels are fun but they need maps specifialy designed for them .
and not spamming to win like in For Honor
Spam wont get you anywhere here too.
Got to agree with you,
I don't get it why does it matter if they are "different." You can compare For Honor with a fps game too, or I can compare SC2 with CS:GO. Obviously these two examples are extreme, and you can only compare very basic things such as like playerbase, graphics, community, learning curve, how game mechanincs and different playstyles affecting your gameplay (for example you can have a defensive playstyle in any of these games).
Regarding Mordhau and For Honor, they are completely different? Both are medieval games with CQC mechanics and such. Yes you can't compare then in depth because they are indeed completely different.
OP asked which is better, not which has better high lvl 1v1 potential.
The most important thing in these is that YOU decide which is better for YOU. In gaming industry its very rare imo when you can say objectively that one game is better than another.
