I got a 2nd account (from epic games) for For Honor and I tried locating game files, which was already installed, on uplay and it failed to locate. Any advice?

Im not entirely sure what you're asking and why, but i do know that you can find where your game is downloaded at by doing:

right click For Honor in steam

click Properties

click Local Files

click Browse Local Files

I think this is what you're after, hope it helps

I assume you received for free or bought For Honor | Starter Edition through Steam or Uplay and you have now received a free copy of For Honor | Standard Edition and wish to use this one instead. Though that may not be the case, your goal is to for Epic Games Launcher to recognise the previously installed version so you don't have to install For Honor again.
Epic Games should have you Uplay account linked so it's possible for the Uplay version to be upgraded to standard edition, but this is if my guess of your goal is correct.
If you just want to use your Epic Games version of For Honor instead of the Uplay one for some reason, I read online that you should start downloading the game on Epic Games to around 1% or higher (doesn't matter, just don't go below 1% I think). Then pause the download and close the Epic Games Launcher (Not sure if this step is required but I'd still do it). Copy and Paste your For Honor (Uplay version) from where you installed it and paste it into the new location you specified in the Epic Games Launcher. Once copying/moving is complete, launch the Epic Games Launcher and resume the download of For Honor. It should scan for files already present (so It knows where it last left off from when you began the download) and should recognise that all files are present.
No idea if this works since I didn't test it, and I know this is rather long.

"You do not need to download it from epic launcher. Just like the steam version, For Honer is played through Uplay. You will have two copies of For Honor in your Uplay library. The changes from starter edition are applied to your uplay account regardless of which copy your run.

I had to use the Epic Launcher to link to my Uplay account, but you may be able to do that through a browser instead.

One of the copies in my uplay library prompts me to download the game, the other, downloaded from steam, just lets me play the full version of the game now, not the starter edition I had before." ~Romalee

I was using an alt account on uplay. For some reason now, uplay decided to actually verify the game files I'd already installed. Should work soon. Thanks Aesir

Nvm, it's verified on uplay but not launching; I guess I need it verified on epic games too
