I'm starting to hate the 7 days wait for the new hero unlock

It's so damn annoying when you have enough steel to get the new hero, but you have to wait 7 days before you can buy it, unless you trow those 30€ to ubi to get the pass... really ♥♥♥♥ing annoying.

New heroes costs 15000 steel each, which is a pretty big price to farm, even with the daily objectives, and that already forces you a bit to rush by buying the pass. There is no need for this fricking 7 days wait, it just makes all even more annoying than it already is.

15k may seems big, but it's obtainable just by playing game.
Even if you are lazy and just do Daily order, you can have it by 2 weeks.
And if you do Contract order, and play a bit often: 1 week.

15k may seems big, but it's obtainable just by playing game.
Even if you are lazy and just do Daily order, you can have it by 2 weeks.
And if you do Contract order, and play a bit often: 1 week.

2-1 week is already enough of a "wait" for a new hero, having to wait even more time, while someone else can already have fun with the new hero, makes everything just frustrating, even for people like me who start farming as soon as a new hero gets announced. Just think to someone a bit more lazy/with lesser time to play (or who spends his steel on other heroes or cosmetics).... everything will be an hell for them.

Bullsh... no game needs to cost 100+ Euros with DLC to "survive". This early access period is arbitrary and annoying.

So just buy the season pass then? That and steel purchase are like the only things to keep the game going at this point. I would imagine sales to be pretty low for a game in this genre, especially after 2 years and a half, of course they have to earn money somehow to even keep the servers running. Business y'know.

And it's not like you're completely locked out of the hero purchase, it's just a one week wait.

First of all, i'm terribly broken in these days, but in any case i won't spend 30€ for something i can somehow get in game. My point is... why making someone wait even more time to get a new hero while it already requires a pretty big ammount of time to get it with all the farming steel thing ? All this while having to withness people already playing with it. They can either remove this 7 days wait or make it a bit equal for everyone and make even people who brought the pass having to wait an extra week before using the new hero.

Dude, every video game company wants to make money. Why would they keep running servers on a game that is dead or generate no income, it's a loss. That's why today you see way more subscription or any way to rent or to get money monthly by purchases.
First, it makes a client come back for new things (so it generates work for devs and such) + they get money, so they don't work for 10€ - 10€ worked, no they work for 20€ - 10€ worth of work (50% win) let's say.
That one week wait is to inspire people to get season pass/pay real money.
If you want to play the game the "cheapest" way, you have to farm more, of course, that's logic. And tbh, Ubi did good in giving no skill or game real advantage, by adding like paid items or such, it's mostly cosmetics or quality of life things. No gamebreaking thing. 1 week is nothing for waiting if you have the money, save more for more customisation then...
Why complain, people that doesn't want to wait or want to generate money for dev by supporting in a way (and buying season pass and dlc and steel and such) do it of their own will.
That this guy paid this month 500€ (or $) for the game because he gets alot of money and wants to spend it that way, is his own reason, but don't complain if you don't want to spend 1€ (or $) when you have 1 week of wait. While other worked for that money that they decided to use it for the game. It's their own free will and way to spend.
No one is an idiot because they spend money on a game, or dlc. Everyone can do mistakes and some dlc on some games are cashgrabbers not worth buying sadly. For me, a DLC worth my money, and if I think it's worth it by comparison and such, it's my choice then to buy it.
If you don't want to, it's your choice; you wait then. One week is nothing.

How much? Don't tell me it's gonna break their bank. Just use all the crappy lootbox money you got from the other Ubi player-milkers.

If they wanted money, there'd be better ways to do it than putting in arbitrary limiters that piss off the playerbase.

Everybody does it, its an incentive to buy, I see no problem in it, you don't pay for the season pass you get the hero, give thanks they ain't doing like EA and limiting hero purchase on season pass. Also how does it affect you exactly?More time to buy stuff and see if you really like the hero or not.

I'm not saying that buying DLCs to support the devs is wrong, but it's also annoying that just because i prefear to get actually useful stuff (heroes) by farming in game money have to limitate me like that. One week of wait may be not a lot, but it's still annoying to see people who can already play the new hero while me, who has farmed steel for days, have to keep playing with the same heroes i got used to (and maybe even get destroyed by who got the hero already)... it's just very annoying. As i said before, if at least they made it a bit equal by making even the ones who has the pass wait an extra week, maybe waiting that extra week would not be that painful.
