Why do the new heros have two names?

Vortiger for black prior, sakura for hito?

Why? No one refers to them as vort and sakura. So why were they introduced like this?

If anyone could give me an answer id greatly appreciate it.

They got one class name and one character name for each gender.

My guess is to give them a deeper story.

I wonder why I see the female name "Erzsébet" so frequently in video games nowadays. It's a Hungarian name. I guess most foreigners would know it from "Erzsébet Báthori".
