So what does the Mugen-ryu really do?

It says that it unlocks special moves and abilities but i can do the same moves mentioned in the list without the little ghosts flying around me, can somebody explain it for me please?

Basically, it leads into some of her other moves. That's what they mean by that.

It's basically an infinite heavy chain where you can access your 33/33/33 and finish it off with a light with HA on it.
