Meanwhile cent get's a rework before any of the vanilla characters that actually deserved a rework.
Also, they buffed her stamina (slightly) Nerfed her dmg (not slightly) and made bleed stack. These changes were within the last 8 months I think
Which could be utter 'damage control communication' BS or sincere wishful thinking, who knows ?
Her lights now do 15 instead of 14 and I guess she uses less stamina for a couple of moves, but that's pretty much it. Oh, wait, they made her deflect into light faster. I can't tell the difference honnestly, it's something like 33ms.
Also, recently, Ubi made the counter-GB window much larger. So PK can't even GB from her heavy-feint anymore, it just doesn't work against any player. (Ok, this never was an amazing move, but you could use it to some extent against 'un-focused' players.)
It's the year of the hyper-armor. So zoning to interupt doesn't work anymore in some cases.
To sum it up : A lot of indirect changes makes her game-play out-dated, out-paced and underpowered compared to (most) other heroes.
Well, Raider is legend - wait for it - ary... But that's another story.
To sum things up, let's look at other vanguards :
- In the hand of a dedicated player, Warden is a killing machine. But he's not that much of a threat when played by an average player. (That could be why he's so low in the latest W/L matrix, with the influx of new players, as FH was free on different platforms for a time).
- Kenseï is said to be fairly balanced. He's actually much easier to play at low level than the Warden. He's a solid choice for an experienced player. But he's not rated very high by the Tournaments player.
- (edit, I forgot :) Tiandi, well there's a skill-cap with this one. "Bad" Tiandis are easier to deal with, than let's say other "wrongly" played heroes. And then you meet somebody who knows what he's doing and that's a pain to find any openning.
- Raider is now a "noob-stomper" even in the hands of other noobs. Pick him up, press any buttons in any fashion, win. Against experienced player, he's still strong because any mistake from you results in a painful punish and you can't afford to miss any opportunity to land your own punishes when you can, or else you pretty much already lost. I guess Raider is also strong at top tier level, because he can do everything : hit hard, hit fast, turtle and mind-trick opponents.
Now, from the PK's point of view, they're all 4 to be considered a major threat...
But, wait...
Every one is a major threat to PK anyway...
Funny how Ubi seems to be garbage at actually finding a good middle ground for buffing/nerfing.
At this point I ended up just using her to yeet offerings from the enemy in Tribute.
PK actually got massively nerfed once but it was before you quit.
there are only 3 vinilla that could use a rework or buff valk pk and Roach
5 character < Centurion?
Pretty bs if you ask me
Think again lol, Nobushi got yeeted almost as hard as PK, all she can really do now is bleed interrupts in ganks and minion clear.
Nobushi is fine and warlord is getting a small rework soo
ye, she b tier in 4s now
nobu aint fine after the nerf.
But at least she isnt a broken 4v4 and 2v2 char anymore
I wouldn't call giving warlord enhanced lights, a rework
