yea but ubi balanced her poorly and everything she does is hyper armor or unblockable or has insane range lol
he will try to feint hyper armor everything to trade - dont try to parry just block all his regular attacks. keep blocking till he runs out of stamina and if you have a bash character use it
if he tries to do an unblockable either dodge or parry. i wouldn't reccommend dodging but getting the timing down to parry. it's not as wild as a raider or shigoki. he can't cancel it too late
for his trip wait till he actually goes to move his leg out before dodging. it takes some practice to get the timing down so go to training mode and get it down. you can get an ez guard break when you.
Who are you playing as?
go into training mode.
Learn her variable timing for her heavies and parry them. Learn to parry her HA light finisher and hito will start to turtle up.
When they go for their kick mix up, that's your time to be aggressive. Light attacks "should" beat most of Hito's kick mix-ups, be careful when dodging her kick, back dodge won't work if Hito feints kick into GB.
Her kick is vulnerable to GB if you can manage to dodge.
Hitokiri is actually balanced fairly well. Her kit is quite basic and once you learn what Hito can and cannot do, they become much easier to handle.
Her HA is no where near as annoying as say Raiders with his high damage to go with it.
I don't find HA to be that frustrating to be honest.
Shes closer to being balanced than most of the cast. Ill take 1 thing that needs a bit of fine tuning over a Character like raider that is obviously over tuned.
you can at least counter her if she messes up unlike jorm or raider who are fundamenbtally broken
i'm sorry but yes there's a reason why everyone's saying this
