CC vs Nuxia Traps
Nuxia traps ignore crushing counter attempts and goes through -as if you blocked.
I am sure I threw lights before, trap would not register and I'd get a free light.

You don't face many Nuxias these days, and the fellow was not chatty.
Working as intended or bug?

If i remember correctly Nuxia's traps work against all counters to attacks.

Besides option select and bulwark.

that's because CC counts as a superior block when initiated. that's why trap counters it (as well as deflect attempts)

I see, thanks for your replies - My memory is playing tricks on me, I am sure I used to counter it with CC's.

Anyway, it's probably another year until I face Nuxia again, and by then I'll have forgotten.

Already known.

Crushing Counters are an active Block stance so yes.

Btw, most CCs can beat both heavy and trap on a single timing, but its too tricky and tight to rely on

It works against all active parry frames and active block guards

OSs are caught in it too

Does the trap activate on superior dodges like conq/kensei?
