Ranked Dominion ?
Since they're willing to put Ranked Dominion into that mess, any info on "ranked rules "? Like, will feats be disabled ? Gear stats ?

Can't count the times where I had a balanced match, with both teams breaking, and the one with better feats simply win the last fight without effort. I've always hated the existence of feats since the beginning of the game, but t'was fine while Dominion was just that casual gamemode you play for exp or goofing around.

Now that there'll be ranked, and obviously, exclusive rewards, maybe it's time to make competitive rules, and since feats are in no way balanced across all heroes, disabling them could be an actual good idea. (Gear stats is a no brainer to disable though, everyone should be on the same level for any ranked gamemode).

Is anyone else thinking this ? Or do people really find feats "interesting" even though they never were really balanced ?
Should there be a class restriction (like single pick, or no more than 2 of the same type (ex. assassin) ?

I never thought they'd make ranked out of this... gamemode. Balancing heroes for 1v1 is already complicated, but balancing them around 4v4 and unavoidable outnumbered situations... Outnumbered fights' mechanics need a huge rework since the beginning to be honest. I understand that you're not supposed to win 1v4, but being able to stunlock someone is really frustrating.



On a sidenote, is the matchmaking's text just here to please us ? Or does it do anything ?

What is "strict" in Ubi's world ? And why is "Player skill" widening before "Player's Renown" ?
Wouldn't skill supposed to be a higher priority to match than Renown ?

Honestly...With the toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is Dominion with the roaming death squads, this game is far from ready for Ranked 4v4. Ranked 4v4 should exist as a featless Elimination match imo, where people are "locked" in 1v1s, without any outside aid, so ganking would be near impossible. But, that's my opinion, and I'm sure people will argue against me and say "you need to git gud when being ganked" when the gankers always reign supreme.

I thought it was hilarious when everyone died to one catapult at the end. But I agree with you.

I understand the frustration of ganks as any monkey with half a brain will know how to guarantee hits on you in 2+v1 situations. However, I disagree with locked 1v1s in Elim. That kinda defeats the purpose of it being a 4v4 mode. If you lock duels, then you basically have a Duel tourney.

But I do agree we need featless gamemodes, and for elim, boostless as well. The whole point of Elim is, if you get your first duel done quick, you can help one of your teammates. Getting boosts and feats as well is just overkill and gives way too much of an advantage for finishing a duel early.
Another idea would be to put players in 4v4 right at the start of an Elim round. It would be a complete teamfight, and would be way more interesting than simply being 2v1 at one corner of the map.

But still, some heroes' moves are simply broken in outnumbered fights (and you can't really balance them out easily, since it could break 1v1's utility at the same time).

Yeah, I get why people find this fun, I had good laugh on this during the first days of the game, but as soon as Dominion is getting "serious" (and it does when you implement a ranked mode), then having a fair match is more important than "funny" game changing feats IMO.

This, just throw everyone into an arena style area with each team on a side, have them charge at eachother from the beginning of the round and let a huge 4v4 deathmatch begin, this is how elim should've been.

So, we're not allowed to have fun or even any sense of fairness in Ranked mode... a lot like normal Dominion then.

I wonder who thought feats were a good idea. Way to ruin the fights' impact on the match as you can just skip them. If at least they were slightly balanced... but right now, it's just a mess.
