why are there so many people filing reports (or at least threatening with filing out reports) out of saltiness and/or hurt feelings? are there legit people expecting this game (or any game for that matter) to be a safe space or something? why is everyone so sensitive?

everyone in this game is so toxic it might even beat cs go russians i guess its just frustration becuase the game has potential yet every patch the devs kinda ingore the playerbase and the game hasnt improved much since launch without time snap its even worse

Why would you EVER care if anybody is threatening you that he's reporting you? I think I was threatened of being reported like hundreds if not thousands of times over the years in many online games. How many times action was taken against me? ZERO. Every dev is well aware that people abuse the report feature when they lose and they will not ban you unless you really are doing something against the regulations. My advice: forget them. Let them report you all they want if they are salty.

Well to come clean I have a short temper and this game has really gotten on my nerves on the PvP aspect, hence why I stay in the PvE area and only fight bots. I only PvP with friends, because at least then I'm not the only one getting mad over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's easier to laugh at.

But I have done some impulsive reports for griefing when getting ganked and endlessly taunted by players, it's nothing I am proud.

I do think I got a report myself for the very same thing though (what you do unto others will be done to you), or it might have been an empty threat.
The Gladiators zone attack can be used to interrupt executions and I happened to do that on another player as payback for doing the same to me in the first place and thus they told me to "enjoy my report" and hence I sent one right back at them just to be a salty prick.

Yeah this game having a "Toxic" comuntiy is probably the nicest way to put it...

Know that even if players do that, the support team investigates every report that is made before taking action. If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

You know what... this is actually genius! I don't mean that in the griefing sense, but I mean it as a way to CC-bump (or "melee attack" as the devs call it) teammates that've already reached the kill phase of their execution, thus freeing them up to help you if they're using an early-kill-yet-long-animation execution (lawbringer's impale is a great example). Assuming it works for other heroes' versions of such attacks, this could be a valuable tactic! Heck, earlier I did one such execution on someone at the bottom of a ladder, and a teammade slid down it and interrupted it right after the kill, and I was thinking "Ah, that was helpful, thanks!" So it definitely works with ladders too at least, haha.

While salt and griefing may have been the original usages, an idea for using it smartly sprung up from it. So in the end it's not all bad! Only reasons I can think of to not use it in such cases are when no other enemies are around and there's no rush to go anywhere, or when the game is right near breaking for them, since they might get a free respawn if the execution ends early.

"git gud" i only use that phrase when someone is threatening with a report.

"ez" that phrase is for losers

"♥♥♥" i'd rather write the whole sentence

"lol noob" once again; only when report threatening is undergoing

"just dodge" i usually say people should dodgle less and block instead

"inferior (something)" only when people play heroes that only have one viable tactic (imo pk and conq need a rework since only one viable tactic)

"cuck" i only say "you got cucked" or "i got cucked" when i or someone else gets bamboozled real hard (no, not the gladiator bamboozle)

what you think of my explanation of when i use the phrases listed above is up to you to interpret.
