Anyone else don't even bother trying.
Also, almost any animation other than recovery animations or heavy startups seem to prevent GBs (RGB/shinobi) as well.
As for feinting with LB, only really useful if they are already OOS. Otherwise they'll just interrupt you instead, so unless you are fishing for parries...
I've had people actually GB me before I started a light and the light prevented the GB. So, either what you are saying is not true or something else is afoot.
I know on the PTS they were going to change it, both lights and heavies, so that there was a 100ms window. A change I don't think should be implemented, I think it should be a function of speed...
