If you're fighting a counter-happy Highlander, you will probably be able to feint to bait the counterstrike and then parry it. Just like baiting CCS and parrying that, it will be a light parry punish, and since Highlander's lights are slower than Warden's top-light they should be easier to bait-and-parry and anyway.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but a Kensei will absolutely eat a counter-happy Highlander for lunch.
Werent they changing the light parries to have the same timing as heavy parries too? Good lord have mercy on our meta
Kensei did the same ♥♥♥♥ to cent on release, so yeah maybe
I think they are delaying the parry punish changes. If i remember well, they said it needs more testing.
