Comparing movesets of Highlander and Gladiator, I'm pretty sure Gladiator gonna be better, the mixups and followups are insane and much more variative than the Highlander's.

Any character you slap the "easy to play" sticker on will be, well, easy to play. And contrary to popular belief, the idea of "starter characters, that are strong for new players but weak against experienced players" doesnt work. As long as there are people who can squeeze a character for maximum effect, each "easy to play" character will just devolve into an "outright OP" character.

All you have to look at to realize that is Soldier in OW or the Starter Gods in Smite.
