At which reputation would it be best to open chests?

I mean this 15th a new season is coming out with gear. Wait for the offical rep to come out to see when you can get the legendary gear

You misunderstood. What Legacy meant was that on the 15th, the reputation needed on one of your heroes will change from what is currently is. I may be wrong, but I think it's Rep 7 to begin finding the upcoming rarity.

Just wait 'till the 15th and use them on any heroes that are at least Rep 7.

Yea. Like I have 10 free chests and 20000 Steel I can use for more boxes that I all earned legit.

I got the season pass because I did the math and itd be better to get the season pass

I get 12 dollars an hour and work 8 hours a day, and I dont work on Saturday or Monday, Thats about 96 Dollars a day, X that by 5 and thats like 484 dollars takeaway tax which is like 350, 100 for just seasonpass and game leaving me with 250 rather then spending 4 weeks of playtime for atleast each of the heroes not counting the boxes

Right now, you could spend them at Rep 7, but realistically, I would wait until Rep 9 if I was you because with Season 3 (ergo in just a few days) there's gonna be the Legendary gear tier, and I'd bet it starts to exclusively drop at Rep 9

(Yes I know it starts after Rep 7 already, but there'd be Epic stuff mixed in which wouldn't be optimal)

If you havent already, you can play the single player campaing (it takes like 5-6 hours), it gives you like 20 boxes in total if I remember correctly.. Do not rush yourself to get highest gear, it reallt does not matter that much :).
