Kensei - moveset changes (?)

so i play kensei now, instead of ms bleedbitch or "noobushi", but something is wrong, one of his combos, canceling upward chain end thing, i cant cancel into right/left chain end move. moveset clearly says i can

10 minutes of practice, not a single one, tried diff all the time over and over.
Is it gone? Is it nerfed? Or is it just hard? there are other things aswell, some people managed to perry my "unblockable" chain end (upward)
same goes for raider and lawbringer, some attacks can be parried that before couldn't

AM I MISSING OUT ON SOMETHING?!

You can parry the unblockable. You just can't block it.

You can cancel the third top overhead into a side heavy/light until your character jumps.
