For Honor not launching

Just bought For Honor from Steam but the game wont lauch. It's registered in Uplay as wel but won't launch from there either. The small window with the 3 factions pops up but after that the game shuts down.

Please help!

12 Core 3.46Ghz CPU
32GB RAM
2 x RX480 8GB

Have you tried verifying the game cache? Sometimes files get messed up during the download.

restart steam, this works for me.

Is that an overclocked Xeon? What if the voltages are wrong? Is the Crossfire configured correctly?

Yes I'm having this issue aswell, it started after that 2 gb patch they released. Game was fine before then.

Had it a few times myself too. Completely shutting down steam and launching it from uplay instead seemed to kickstart it. Simply restarting it from steam never worked for me.

The problem is that nobody knows for certain what is causing these problems and Ubisoft has not yet made an official statement regarding this. So I filed for a refund with steam! Thanks and good luck!

funny, 2018 and I am now having this issue for the first time. and ive tried restarting my PC 3 times, now I am on the "Uninstall and Reinstall" step, then Ill complain to Ubisoft if it doesn't work.

So i lunch the game it 5 times but it only worked in 2 of it i dont know what is the problem and the thing is i hear the game sounds

the game was free from 2018 and its not letting play the game because it says i dont own the game when the game is in my steam libary for years now and i wanna play it with my brother because i gifted him the game so how do i fixed that
