Is Champion status worth it?

So i've dropped a fair bit of steel on getting champion time, but it seems that it really only gives you bonus XP and a bit more salvage when it's time to break down gear.

What's your oppinions on it? i for one am starting to think it's not worth it, i mean, i could have spent all that steel on Executions and emotes an stuff, rather than a passive upgrade.

I mean i'm not rushing to have the best gear or highest level characters.
Or does End match Loot cover steel? or is it just weapon/armour parts?

You can easily get Champ status for free. There's no reason not to have it.

you will get loot any match that you do reasonably well in. i've only had a hand full where i didnt

buying only the 30 days one its 500 steel you need to farm each day to kept it forever.

is it worth it? not really. I'm not going to renew mine once it runs out unless i have more steel than i know what to do with.
