Is conqueror super weak?

I been playing him for a while struggling a lot in 2v2, he's so slow everything is easily dodged shield bash is so easy to dodge I can't hit anyone even after a gb and damage is really low the only way I can get damage is block gb and heavy.

Any tips ?

Of course he is slow he is a tank after all. I think the issue you are having is you might be taking to long to press the R1 or R2 after a successful block or parry. You can hold R2 to charge his heavy attack...if you actually hit someone with it that should be half of their health.

Thanks for the tips I will check out the videos, admittedly I am so bad at the game anyways soon as I play vs an assassin that just spams attacks non stop I fall apart, hopefully just playing the game I can get better

It's frustrates me bcoz I am to ♥♥♥♥ to deal with Noobs who just spam attacks they kill me in seconds of a dual

People that spam you just parry one of their attacks or soft block until they are out of stamina.

Charged heavy (specifically from the right) has deceptive range, easily your best move.

Well first of all, you have to play him defensively if you aren't already. You shouldn't really go for naked shield bashs and try not to use his all block(Breeds bad habits, and it's not very good. Use it if getting double teamed). His infinite combo can get people sometimes, and even just three hits is often a decent amount of damage. Take advantage of his heavy shield bash combo and follow it up with a top light attack. Don't forget to parry as him too.

Walls are also your friends. That's pretty much the only way to land a heavy without mind games. Use your charged swing and release when you think they're going to grab you or after they attack(You can stillk guard attacks while charging). Attack in the direction they attacked in right after they do, and it'll be very hard for them to block(if they even can, I'm not sure)

Trust me i'm trash as well yet I managed to go prestige as a Warlord.

Conqueror its best to getting into this cancerous super defensive parry meta, you will learn to parry and not getting punished for missing it becouse superior block so win-win.

Also never initiate or even better never attack just counter, if you want to play agressive use full block to feint and spam shield bash.

conq has a high win % so say the devs, meanwhile raider/lawbringer currently have the lowest win %

Yeah I am still pretty poor at blocking and parrying like somone just attack and changing guard kills me just feels like I can't keep up like peacekeeper change in attack is so fast,


I am awful at parrying 40 hours deep and I am still utterly useless lol

But thanks for all the tips I am trying to improve as much I can I just get frustrated by my own lack of skill

Oh I know all of this and I do admit I was a part of this "cancerous meta" but playing super defensive and parrying is how you are supposed to play the character so how is it "cancerous"?

To be fair though, if you're playing conqueror aggressively, you're doing it wrong and should switch to warlord.
