Are the servers that bad? (Answered)
So many reviews are negative because of servers being bad, but is it really that bad? I see a lot of games with mixed reviews for similar issues but when I play them they're fine so wondering if it's the same with this.

I personally haven't really had any issues with the servers. Obviously with it being P2P it can be bad whenever someone leaves that the server pauses and gets a new host but I haven't been kicked due to that. Just like the "lag switch" video that was uploaded recently seems to be a bit much since I've never experienced anything close to that. There are times when you get a random error code and are kicked but the times it has happened to me I could count on one hand. The game and it's mechanics are very good, obviously the biggest attraction to it is the multiplayer so don't really expect a good single player. I can't speak for everyone but I can say that from my experience and the experience of my group of friends that play For Honor, we haven't experienced the terrible connection they are complaining about.

Alright thanks. That helped.

not at all

all the ppl having servers issues just have bad internet or are actually blaming their potato pcs
so the question is
Where do you live? and what internet speed do you have?

Yeah I noticed that but I'm not talking about that. If a server is down then it's down and I'll be told when it's back up, but with bad server connection you never know so it's more frustrating.

I live in Scotland and my internet isn't fantastic but all games I've played online have worked.

Its p2p if you play with only green ping people aka people from you country or near theres almost no problems.

meanwhile if you are in a match with people who have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ connection or lives in the other side of the planet its going to be a lot of disconnects, crashes and salt.

its all fault of the matchmaking mostly anyway, all region searching needs to go.

Alright thanks that helps as well. I might just wait for this issue to be fixed because by then there might have been a sale or something.

If you have a terrible connection just simply don't get the game
if you have a good connection then you're fine

Thanks, quick to the point
it depends, because its not dependent on a server responding to host, instead being peer to peer, it theroretically should be good for people near or arround you. However speaking from experience, playing with one of my nearby friends resulted in a continous "reconnecting" phase every 20 to 30 seconds. he lives very close with similar internet and it was unplayable. By saving on the servers they pass the buck off onto the user with "well it might be your internet" and that will probably never change for the life of the game. I honestly am in the camp that this is a 20-30 dollar game max. Its very fun even though i suck at it but the multiplay (edit) code is absolute garbage

only if you problems with player of you same region, even if you have a godly connection its not gonna help you with people from the other continent.

Sadly its a 60$ game if we count all the stuff ubisoft promised to deliver this year, extra 6 heroes, maps, not sure about new gamemodes.

but with the current content yeah no even worth those 60$ bucks.
