Nobushi's Attack speed

Has anyone noticed this class's attack speed is underwhelmingly slow? I feel her heavy is on par with Raider's. Aside from the "guaranteed" hit that you hit a combo twice in a row she has to be the slower class I have seen in comparison to others (excluding shugoki) but she telegraphs her attacks so badly that people can parry her light attacks without effort because the speed between her light and heavy attack are very similar. If you put two nobushi together, have one light attack and the other heavy attack, they will trade damage.

yeah i agree, and then people are whining that the valk is too slow when its on par with orochis, and the lawbringer can just spam certain combos really fast and then keep throwing you to the ground for free damage like conqueror.

The Valkyrie's attacks are nowhere even remotely close to the attack speed of the Orochi, and the Lawbringer's combos are all easily avoidable.

Yeah, after i noticed how badly she telegraph's her attacks (she uses a spear/naginata it doesn't require the amount of effort the game shows) I am choosing to switch mains. There is no excuse for her style of play to be so interchangeably slow. If I don't somehow get off bleed with the slow attack speed I do migitated damage. It isn't like I get 30% damage on top of normal damage. It feels more that unless I hit someone with bleed, i do migitated damage in comparison to others.

Yep. makes you feel pretty pathetic. severely limits your options in close combat too. no attack to interrupt anything remotely fast, only parry or retreat.

This is a possibility. If people have a problem with the bleed mechanic I will gladly trade it for attack speed and damage. I honestly believe the mechanic is stupid and does not belong. The main reason I like the class is the naginata/spear

No, she isn't fast at all. She has a huge wind up time for all of her attacks. If you can parry her heavies you can parry her combo light attacks

I think recoveries mess her up the most. She could be a lot better if she wouldn't recover for seven years after every attack.

There is also superior block and full guard stance.

You can cancel the recover with kick or stance.
