Come! Sit down on the tatami, my young student!
Open your ears for the wisdom of your old Sensei Oroshi (♥♥♥ for Cold wind blowing down the mountain). I'm an Orochi ( ♥♥♥ for Snake) warrior but the teaching I'm offering today can be a great help to any of you even if you don't use the Katana like me.

Your sensei has been fighting for quite some time. I fought in the pre war battle of Kurōzu Beta and Mugai Beta.

At Kurōzu Beta battle, I was still a novice and I focused on attack and basic defence. Starting to develop my technique but, I was force to run from some of the fights, to my shame, because I would have been gang rape by cold steel.

At the Mugai battle, there was even more warriors and honor in battle was quick forgotten. At that time, I was training my Parry and deflect techniques I had learn to study between the two battle.

Now the war is started and I hear a lot of warriors complain that they don't want to be hack to death by a bunch of people.
Even more are forced to run away from a fight or to let gravity kill their enemy for them.

But... their is no honor of death doesn't come from the tips of the your blade. Like the great Musashi said:" an enemy who tried to run from your blade has already lost."

When the Great War exploded, I wasn't on the battlefield like all the others. I've been to the kusutome game area. There, for hours, in trained against 2 foe at the time to perfect my technique.

Here is my knowledge explain in a couple of point.

1. Don't run like a little girl, stand your ground. Evaluate your chance to victory, your chance of defeat. Run only if you can help a friend by doing it.

2. Evaluate which opponent is the strongest. This depend on your class. For me, it's always the one with the shields.

2. Lock the easiest target first.
The one which pose the lesser treat is the better. Whether it's from it's class or the farther away from you! ( this is the base of the trick.) keep your lock open away from you. The point is: keep the guy you have a hard time fighting alone in lock and far.

3. Position yourself so that all other attacker are to the same side. Either left or right.

4. When a non locked opponent strike. You only have to block from the direction "he is" and not his attack direction. Opponent attack you from left, block left.
Previous point become clear now. All opponent on the same side means only one side to block.

5.Don't try to attack now! You need to block all you can. There is a trick! If to attack come at the same time or almost, you only need to block the first one to block them all! Keep your eyes open for the first strike of multi hit and try to block any attack coming in a longer timing. Be careful of guard break, throw and unstoppable attacks. Dodge back all you can. You can now hold back until help arrive!

6. There is no more help? Your alone and it's a fight to death? Fight then. But, don't attack yet!
The point is to block enough attack to get your revenge.
But DON'T USE THIS PRECIOUS JUICE OF ADRENALINE ALREADY!!!

7. You have your revenge ready.
Now it's time to slaughter! WAIT for an enemy or multiple to attack you (the more all together, the better). Just before they hit, activate your revenge instead of blocking. This will throw down any enemy who struck you. As soon as the start to go down, lock on the closest one and kill him in two hard strike ( if you boost your damage).

8. From then, all depend on how many opponents you have left.

2v1: you only have one left, duel and keep an eye on his dead friend. You don't want a revive.

3v1: you still have 2 left. But you should have a little of revenge left so quickly try to hit and start process again. Try to stand on the dead body to prevent revive.

4vs1: rince and repeat. Keep body to your feet and watch out for attack when you just killed an opponent. People won't wait for you to turn around and be ready.

Here it is, this is Master Oroshi technique to fight against all odds! I hope it will help the student in you, will better the technic of other masters. What are your secret technique? I have more but... I won't share all my secrets freely!

Thx, I came to realise that the only thing this game needs to make 2v1, 3v1 and 4v1 more interesting would be that if you lock on the same enemy with a teammate, friendly fire is put to normal damage. So this would stop the button mashing 4v1 kill! But, we have to do with what we have and this is one of the best way to survive. I realise while using this that sometime it bring a hard 1v1 fight into a slaughter for me. Here is the trick If you fight someone and next to you, your friend is fighting another.

1. Lock on his enemy.
2. Easy block your opponent (not the one you are locking) while not attacking your friend's foe.
3. Not attacking let stay lock on him without being attack and need to really block attack.
4. Side (secondary block) pump your revenge meter faster
5. when you get your revenge, block the next side attack by activating it on time.
6. Your real opponent is down, lock back on him and slaughter the ♥♥♥♥ out of him!
7. Help your friend... or not... For Honor!
