I might also suggest Kensei or Warden for you.
berserker is aggresive, fast and can be rly strong, but he takes alot of practice and yo need to do more than other chars to be successful.
oroshi is the baseline fast guy. dodgehits, fast overheads, deflect. but people gonna get salty cause reddit decided for some reason that he is to strong.
peacekeeper is fast, has a strong grab(once fixed, the grab bleed is bugged and sux atm) and fast hits.
valkyrie is considered to be weak, but you can make her work if you rly enjoy her. fast stabs, stylish combos, good defense. and you can practice deflectin on her, too , to get better with the assassins
You basically want an assassin, but not the subtle-animated one and not reflex-based one. That's not possible.
Perhaps the closest to it could be the berserker.
I indeed really like the vikings.
I raised each to level 10, then thought "what if an other Hero does is even more enjoyable? There's this and that which could be better."
And here I am. :p
Didn't try the Warlord, ok I put it on my todo list.
The Kensei and Warden felt "meh" to me, but I didn't play them more than 2 hours each.
They felt like hybrids, not slow, not fast, not bad looking moves, but not cool looking either.
I'll raise them to evel 10, see how they feel after that. :)

I'd take a look at that and see what your Kensei thoughts are afterwards. Unfortunately he doesn't have any when he's playing for Warden or Warlord. (He has a sort of "Warden basic video," but not any like this one.)
So you think he might be The One, I take not, thanks.
Berserker too? Ok, it seems he could fit me, from reading my wish list.
I can't play the Orochi, I just suck hard with him (level 11, so I need to train), I still put it on my list of Heroes to look at.
I understand what you say about the Valkyrie, will look at her.
I just checked, she also has some good offense in the later levels.
Her playstyle is really cool to watch.
I barely touched her (level 7), so I'll test her more, to see where it leads me.
Edit : can't answer for the next 40 minutes. Be back soon.
She relies on poking and maintaining distance, though, if you want constant pressure, I'd say berserker is perhaps the most "non-reflex" assassin (though there's basically no such thing) out there and he has pressuring chains and I'd assume he also has "cool animations" - I mean, I don't know what you mean by this, but I somehow gathered you want them to be gritty and powerful, in which case berserker does seem like a pretty ovewhelming class when you look at them fight. Then again, if you like Nobushi's aesthetics and animations, then I don't know, since Nobushi is basically the "darling of the cast" and certainly the most graceful and feminine in her animations.
About cool animation: THIS. IS: VELKENHEIM! Execution is just so satisfying. I play Berserker and i think he got a buff since open beta. So far i've not seen many as my aspect of choosing this class was that there were barely any being played. His playstyle revolves around guardbreak lot. Altough i actually do the deflect guard break and barely the normal one.
