Sounds like some real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in Communication.
Sorry that i cant help more. For me it worked just fine. Hope it gets fixed for you guys.
-making sure Uplay is linked to your steam account, Key/Activation codes don't exist, it should automatically activate when you launch your Uplay account if they're linked
-Deleted Ownership files in (C:)/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/Cashe it should attempt to redownload them when you log-in to Uplay next time.
-Make sure Uplay is completely closed before launching the program and it should automatically log into your account when you launch For Honor.
None of the fixes worked for me, but they might work for you. Unable to get Steam/Uplay to play nice with eachother, i just refunded it on steam and i'll likely buy it though Uplay so i don't have to bother with this whole problem.
