Any way to 1v1 friend split screen?

Looking to arrange some 1v1s with friends on the couch via split screen or whatever. mortal kombat has the 1v1 2 controller mode so does for honor?

its not possible. They planned to include it, as far as Í read, but it never made it into the final game
