Can't play For Honor steam shared
Whenever I launch my For Honor that's shared with a friend, Uplay opens up and says it's not able to, any solutions?

You can't because uplay doesn't have family sharing, so my solution is to play it on a single account.

probably because its all online and needs a registration key, won't be able to share it

I got it registrated on uplay through steam

In order to register a game to Uplay you need to buy it yourself right? In that case is there no way for me to play it while it's Steam Shared? :(

Correct man, sorry. If it was all steam it'd work. But Uplay requires you to register the game to your account, so no dice.

The only way would be to use both the steam and uplay accounts of the original owner, killing the purpose of family sharing. And since steam guard requires a code in the phone app, it means that every time you want to play his ubisoft games you'd need to call him and ask for the steam authentication code, which is very inconvenient.

honetly buying ubisoft games on steam is virtualy useless as it will still install and need uplay, even friend list and other stuff are the uplay ones
all you gain by getting their games on steam is that you need 2 launchers to play them instead of just one
