Problem on purchasing Steel Packs (Fixed, see description for solution).

As the title stated, anyone else having problems on purchasing them? A friend of mine was able to buy a pack, however he got the UPlay version of the game. Therefore I am wondering if this issue only occurs on the steam version. I tried several attempt to fix the issue by unistalling/reinstalling UPlay and added funds on steam, however it still did not work. I am currently redownloading my game, hoping it might fix the problem.

Solution (Copy/pasta from my reply below):
I found a fix, be sure you have steam overlay in-game (check by Shift+Tab ingame) since the steam version uses steam wallet. If the overlay does not appear, try disabling any anti-malware/virus programs you have running and reset the game, then check if steam overlay works. I hope it helps.

Hmmm...Same issue here. I also noticed that I can't open the "ubisoft club" from within the game...don't know if this a has anything to do with it but it might.

When I hit purchase (and hold it down) it makes a noise but nothing happens. Very annoying. :(

Well as a Windows 10 user, and I have a built in Virus program which is simular to microsoft essentials.. I have tryed to turn it off, and checked if there are like firewalls ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up for me... seems like nothing is working to bring up my steam overlay.

Tho I hope Uplay or Steam would fix up this mess soon as possible.

Got any in game monitoring program running? For example like afterburner(usually comes with rivatuner) try closing both of them because some steam users previously had issue with them(on others games). In addtion, as a reference the cause of my issue was because of Malwarebytes, which I had to turn off to buy the steel packs.
