Yeah that Lawbringer video is amazing. The options for upgrades are going to be epic too, it is really fun I played the Knight class mainly for both betas and dabbled with some of the vikings but did not like em as much the attacks are very different for each character type. Some are very fast with little blocking, others are slow but very powerful. Amazing game. I cannot wait for the launch.

Lawbringer is from a later age, sooo...

The only cathcphrase I remember from the XIV - XV century (which fits with the armor and the weapon) is "Inimicus Dei. Inimicus pietatis. Inimicus misericordiae" (Enemy of God. Enemy of piety. Enemy of pity.), which was said to be engraved on the breastplate of Wener von Urslingen, a German who led a mercenary company. Either Latin, English or German work for that, I guess. Of course, no one will get that in German (Feind Gottes, des Erbarmens und des Mitleids, found on wikipedia so don't trust me on this).
