The games controls are so different, it takes a while to get used to no matter what. Personally, i think it's easier to parry with mouse and keyboard, but harder to block.
The main thing I like more about mouse and keyboard, is i dont get hand cramps after playing for a long time like i did with a gamepad.
I'd say it boils down to what you prefer. Usually i like to play with KBM more, but on this particular game I'm down to playing with a controller.
TL;DR Boils down to prefernce and both need to some to get used to.
Both should work though. Just go off pref.
I bet if you play with a MKB first then Controller will be difficult..
Advantages:
1. You can easily counter guard break without an unability to dodge or feint.
2. You can easily use feints without unability to dodge or CGB.
3. IMO it's easier to parry, block, and dodge. Especially with Assassins.
4. You can chat!
Disadvantages:
1. Hard to control throws.
2. Unability to walk (or i havent found button yet).
3. Bad position of GB button (but you can change it btw).
Nah. It very much depends on the game. Like I prefer Dark Souls with a gamepad, but this game, and keyboard and mouse works just as good, if not better. Better for me since it's more comfortatble with better keybinds. I hate having to press down Analog sticks for anything :-p
I think mostly it's because the games controls like no other game. The closest comparison would have to be War of the Roses. I think this game will just feel off no matter what until you get used to it. Like learning to ride a bike.
