Safe to say? It's not a complicated mechanic in either game, and I'm pretty sure I've seen the mechanic in For Honor in another game.

Still, this game isn't worth the money, just like Steep. They're good, but not $60 good.

I cant say it sucks. I was RLY RLY hyped for this game.
Im now in the situation that i cant tell if ill buy or not. 60€ for this small content, is very much. I K single player story mod comes too, but that doesnt change anything for me, im only interested in Multiplayer.

But still - u cant say it sucks. Its overpriced, thats all.

I agree - the core concept seems fun, untill you discover cheese in every other class, idiotic guard breaks and unblockable hitstrings (aka infinites from fighting games) and just pure absense of balance between classes.
(sure, two-hand axe heavy attack is faster than one shortsword or dagger poke... yeeah...)

I too think Chivalry is not very good as a sword and shield game - better then war of roses, ok - but warband is the king here.
This for honour thing sadly has only grafics and not real gameplay aside from waiting to block and spam. It just does not get better after hours and hours :(

its because you arent good at it yet, everyone ive invited has hated it until they got gud. you are doing something wrong if you just dont like it or complain about the combat. chivalry has some of the worst melee combat ever, as shown above, i am personally related to one of these "MLGPROL33T" chiv players and basically how they do it is turn their sensitivity to max, always use the longest weapons in the game and literally throw their mouse around their desk. this is a different genre also, this is a 3rd person tactical strategy melee combat game (like dark souls and m&b), chiv is an arcade hack and slash.

some classes are very overpowered and easy to use which will hopefully be changed, stats dont seem to make sense, some characters deal the most damage have the most health and swing the fastest when they should be the slowest enemies with the least damage.....

tactics vary some characters dont need them/ raider conqueror warlord. face a decent conqueror as an orochi and you will be forced to use tactics. use a peacekeeper vs a raider and you will once again be forced to use tactics, use a nobushi against a warlord or conqueror and again forced to use tactics because blindly swinging will only get you killed. against decent players youll find orochi requires the most action and tactics from you because it has no bleed or poison and 2 unblockable attacks that require you to deflect an enemy attack (the only way to kill a good conqueror as orochi)
