raider is too weak
so ive TRIED to play with raider and i can say that hes pretty♥♥♥♥♥♥ first of all his "vortex" is so slow that an orochi can punish you really hard. second of all hes too slow. he cant do well under pressure. yea sure hes got a far throwing distance but that cant be all? he does some nice dmg if they ♥♥♥♥ up the parry but usually has defense at the highest so it wont matter. he CANT get a free heavy on a guard break but he can do the zone for some good dmg but can be PARRIED by assasins. now if im not correct just say down below what you think hes good at

(update)
just realised you cant get a free heavy from light parry if fighting conq

We are looking into buffs for the raider. They were planned to be released in patch 1.06, but the developers felt that some of the changes didn't feel right, so we will be releasing them at a later time in the near future. We'll update everyone on an ETA as soon as we know more.

Very hard to buff a hero like Raider. He has enough tools to be very good in a skilled players hand. On the other hand, a new player would have a lot of trouble trying to use him. I personally think he is in a nice position. If he is going to be buffed, I have a hard time seeing what would be buffed without making him a force of nature. But who am I but a lowly Warden speaking on things I know nothing about. Hope you make the right decisions. People are counting on it.

I'm a rep 5 Raider by the way and he is one of my best heroes. I rarely lose a match. His heavy mix up and brutal 50/50 stamina combo with his zone is devastating. Also if the player knows how to parry lights as Raider, it's game over. I think people who want Raider buffed don't really understand how to use him. As well, a legendary Raider not to long ago nearly won a Duel Tournament so take that for what you will. Just saying if he could finish in the finals with Raider against really good Warlords, Peacekeepers and Wardens. Maybe he doesn't need a buff, just a more skilled player behind the wheel. I have personally become a better player because of using Raider. I can parry most lights now and my punish game is on point. I've been told in that Raider needs a nerf by some players who have lost brutally to my Raider in the past. Just something to think about before you buff him and make him unstoppable in my hands and for other players like me.

If you hit 3 heavys with raider people die! Seriously! LOL. Well that is if you use 2 heavys chained with the unblockable and all 3 hit. Some players panic and loose to this especially since the unblockable deals max damage. Raider has a lot of tricks. I am level 22 with Raider going 23. I think the mistake people make is thinking he is slow. If I see players who feint a lot I usually go full light attacks which catch people off guard as the chained lights are very fast. Using a stunning tap then changing stances with light deals a lot of damage. Feinting the unblockable is also a must especially when people are at low stamina before loosing it all. They will try to parry it and if you parry back, throw them behind you and you get to chain a top heavy and an unblockable most of the times killing your opponent instantly and having salty comments about how they died with just 2 hits! LOL.

My complain is that the raider can't get a guaranteed zone or heavy after a GB. I found people parrying the zone after GB using either just GB or GB then twist and turn method. Found players that parry so is sad you can't get a guaranteed zone or heavy. Hope his timings are changed.

The only thing I can say for the raider unlike all other characters, all attacks which hit are well deserved hits especially zone after gb.

Yes, whoever wants to play Raider needs to work extremely hard compare to other heroes.
Every heroes can block and parry but due to Raider's slow atk and guard switch your opponent will have more time to react so we as a Raider has to work harder and really learn to parry opponent's light atk.

After GB your best option is to look for the wall so you can get the heavy atk if there's none a zone but of course assasins can parry the zone that's why parry light is really important because you'll get the guaranteed heavy after parry their light atk. For me playing as Raider means I has to taking risks get the job done.

I main Zerker and also play Nobushi and Raider but Raider gives me the most satisfaction and frustration, if you want to learn this game's basic mechanic then I'd say play Raider.

My complain for Raider is his guardswitch is way too slow for PK and Valk, there's a lot of times when I got hit, for me, I have to guess their second attack not to mention if they feints.

For the Devs, Pls don't just buff Raider's speed like Valk 'cause that's just kinda lazy work. I'm looking forward for your work.

I would say the main thing raider needs is confirmed heavy on GB, and hyper armor on zone. That would solve alot of problems for me.

Actually as a raider main i find it too challenging and fun. His main thing is parry though. I can parry orochis top light and zone and its really helpful for raider because you can get heavy if you parry light and if you parry into heavy raider will hit like a truck. Yes he needs a bit of love but not that much even 1 buff for him is enough like faster side light. Thats my opinion on raider. Damn I lovr raider :D
