Pirate Character
I think the next character for For Honor should be a pirate. His faction would be the vikings, as vikings are basically older versions of pirates. His weapons would be, in one hand, a saber, and in the other a flintlock pistol. The sabre would be used like a regular sword, and the pirate would have stun moves and guard breaks by gun-butting the opponent. The pirate should also have dirty moves, such as throwing dirt in the opponents face. You could also include naval cannon strikes as a feat for him. The executions would be where you actually see the pistol in action. He could have an emote where he holds a jar of sand in the air, referencing Pirates of The Carribean. Would anyone else here like to add something to this list or change it? And do you think a pirate would be fitting in For Honor?

New heroes are already decided anyway.

I don't see why not. The Centurion and Knights/Samurai are already very far apart, time wise, and the pirate could be focused around swordplay with a gun feat.

I kind of like what OP is describing, actually. (Anyone who's played Chivalry: DW also knows that Pirates were the best designed team)
id rather have a gothic knight than Blackbeard

The link you provided didn't work for me, but no, I didn't copy anything. Not purposely, anyways.

Pirates have been one of the more suggested hero additions from the community. While I'm not sure he'd make the best fit among the current lineup of heroes, he would certainly be an interesting addition.

A Pirate hero would fit in as much as a Gladiator hero.

I genuinely hope the Gladiator leak is fake. As much as I would enjoy playing as a Retiarius, I think the Knight factions needs a Knight hero after getting the Centurion.

What is Season 3 About again?

Something and Glory?Correct?
No idea, but the guy who leaked Centurion and Shinobi also said the next Knight hero is a Gladiator(trident and net).

I actually love the idea, if it weren't for the fact that a Gladiator isn't really a Knight.

I think a dude with a gun is a bit more removed from medieval times than a roman soldier, just my 2 cents

Let alone fact that they even mention centurions in the story as well so you know they're there

The middle ages spans the years 401-1500. Gladiators were right before while pirates were right after. Not all pirates were actually equipped with a gun either.

In any case, pirates did serve under European monarchs while gladiators really didn't. Gladiators in general aren't nearly as comparable to knights as a centurion would be.
