All this whining about not getting a free GB if you dodge the kick is stupid. You CAN LITTERALLY KILL A SHINOBI IN 2-3 HITS!
You try playing him to any effectiveness, and still tell me he needs nerfed!!
He can just kick and kick without getting punished, and that kick can't be traded with effectively, so there's no way to stop it or counter it. If you're competent at the game and it's a 1v1, then all you need to do is kick until the opponent misses a dodge. They should either allow for the guardbreak or any kind of punish or remove the hyperarmor.
Says the guy who probably has never played him before. I get punished all the time. Parry him, he is dead. CGB him, which is SUPER easy, btw--he is dead. Dodge his kick and actually attack, at worst he blocks you or dodges away. His double dodge eats a lot of stamina, so do his combos.
Stop crying about the character, give it a few weeks or so until you've fought enough of them to learn to counter. OR play the damn character so you learn his moves, once you do, it will be a lot easier TO counter for you. That's what I did with PK and Zerker.
Yeah. I have noticed, playing as Shinobi, that if I try anything from a distance, even someone halfway competent can shut me down there, forcing me to close the distance. And then, if I do, all he has to do is trade with me, or manage a parry, and I'm as good as dead.
No ♥♥♥♥ . I play LB, so if I parry anyone they're probably dead or nearly. I'm talking specifically about the kick being unpunishable and having hyperarmor, making it the best push in the game easily, except maybe the warden's shoulderbash. It should either have no hyperarmor or be punishable with a gb or at least a light.
