edit: Stand by my initial guess, but a lot of work went into this. I can tell. I would say 20 bucks but I would buy it on sale.
Also depends how deep this game goes and how much is added to it :)
Fun little game here and I peaked at your other prices, if this game was in the 10 buck range it would be an instant buy from me
Just based on the demo, and assuming this will release in EA, I'm seeing a price tag between $4.99 - $9.99, and that's a rather average to high estimation based on this list of idle games SteamDB idle games with >75% positive rating[steamdb.info]
Also it will be a new release from an indie dev with no guarantee that it won't be abandoned. I was about to buy Space Industrial Empire for 6€ during the recent Idle fest but when I saw the reviews saying that it was abandoned, it went from "wishlist" to "ignore list" immediately.
edit: steamdb custom url doesn't seem to be working, it was a filtered list of idle games with >75% positive rating, priced between $1 and $20 and with at least 100 reviews. Guess you'll have to apply the filters yourself.
Cool list. I wasn't aware you could do this with SteamDB, so that's neat.
For what it's worth, I have a track record of releasing games and not abandoning them. I've also sworn off EA because, to be entirely honest, I totally understand how it feels if a game bombs and you just don't want to work on it anymore. Nomad Idle looks like it'll do well, and I'm glad, but still, I can avoid this potential scenario by just making and releasing a complete game into 1.0 straight-up, so that's what I will be doing.
Depends if there will be any MTX or not. If MTX, then $0-2,99, if not, then anything between $9,99 to 15,99. Personally, I've played hundreds of different games personally, here on steam my main games currently reside at NGU for around 16000 hours gameplay and currently GIC(Galaxy Idle Clicker) for about 4600 hours and counting. Both which I have invested more than $300 each in, not for benefits, but to support the dev, (and get fancy discord role xD)
This game, at this point I've spent around 200 hours in, I've done every discover-able available at 100%'ed except the last where I'm at 99%. I really enjoy this game, it's well polished and I always look forward to discover new things, unlock new features and try different passives to optimize my runs.
Me, personally, I don't care if it's $0 with MTX, or $29+ without. Because I will get this no matter what because I really enjoy it, but you have to think what the general population would like to pay because they can be really stingy about prices when the game is labelled Incremental/idle/clicker. And especially if there's MTX available.
But if you keep the demo available, I'm sure you can ask for $9-24,99 because then people can try it before deciding to buy it considering the progress carries over.
