1: Firstly make sure you have direct X installed and updated.
Windows 7 direct X 9.0c: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=35 <- this file should also update further options from direct X.

2: If you have direct X 11 (or 9.x) installed and you get the above error do this:

3: create a config file, simply right click on an empty spot in the Cdrive>Archeage>"Documents" folder, create a TXT file. Open up the text file and type in these commands in your new TXT document.

r_width = 1920 (< Change this depending on your resolution)
r_height = 1080 (< Change this depending on your resolution)

auto_disconnect_timer = 30

4: After that, go to file and click "save as", and drop down the "Save as type", and select "All Files".
5: Rename the text document to "system.cfg".
6: Start the game.

If this doesn't work check the following:
1: Close out ArcheAge and Glyph
2: Navigate to your hackshield folder under \Program Files (x86)\Glyph\Games\ArcheAge\Alpha\bin32\HShield\
3: Delete the folder named asc
4: Restart your PC
5: Once your PC restarts navigate to \Program Files (x86)\Glyph\Games\ArcheAge\Alpha\bin32\HShield
Right-click on the hsupdate file and select Run as Administrator
6: After it is finished updating, launch Glyph and ArcheAge

can someone help me with this error. I think I tried every solution. Nothing helps.
