I'm a 23 now so I don't have a large knowledge of the game, yet.
Freedich Island is an island in the center of the sea.

On that island is a gilda star trader and a resource trader. The Gilda Star trader gives you 4 gilda if the pack is from Solzreed to there, and I'd imagine more if it's from further inland. You'll always get more Gilda than if you turned in at Ynystere, Solis Headlands or Villanelle.
The problem currently is the fact that it's in the middle of the sea, and as we know there's sea-bugs and jellyfish that exist. That and there's pirates and players from the other faction. So there's a bit of a risk traveling out there, especially since houses are still there.
The upcoming Dead Prophecies update removes the housing on the island (so that people can't teleport there as they please), and a gold trader will periodically spawn there trading 20g for packs (since a good chunk of that update focuses on things involving the sea to encourage people to go out in it more). But for Gilda, Freedich is the most profitable turn-in.
