Do either servers have an option to manually lower the exp/labor rates to 1x? I don't want accelerated leveling, I want the same speed as live.

you can either go archerage (closest to the vanilla experience) or to classic (which lacks stuff like the annoying hiram gear and therefore makes professions useful for more than tradepack money farming and it uses the old trade system).

Well, unfortunately neither of those privates suit me because they both have accelerated exp rates for leveling and labors. I want the true 1x rates only.

ArcheRage NA is riddled with Chinese bots taking over content and land with their gigajew tactics & gold selling schemes. Also, the top geared person on that server is an account owned by one of the server managers, who allegedly generated his gear and not earned them. ArcheRage EU might as well be called ArcheRage RUSSIA.

archerage is the blade and soul style that is retail before shutdown.
classic is the version that uses all professions the way they're supposed to while not having stradas, rampage and hiram gear

That was pretty much my experience although I'm pretty sure it was server heads owning like 50+ properties each and the people below them having their own housing monopoly and below that typical real estate hoarding.

The Whale scene being every bit as offensive as it was in retail, perhaps even more so given the limited population.

So few players and yet you'd be lucky to find a square inch of land in some flea-infested swamp in the middle of nowhere. This kind of reinforces my opinion that the one true constant in MMO's is that the playerbase remains the same, which is to say, generally your direct competition and nothing more.
