I would also assume since you tried 3 different drives that they all have enough space right? :P
Can try cleaning out all temp files. There might be something in there, however remote, that is screwing things up
1. Hold the Windows key and press the letter R to open the Run window
2. Type 'cleanmgr' into the field and press Enter
3. If prompted, select the drive the game has been installed on (usually C)
4. Check the box next to Temporary files
5. Click OK
Another method is to see if your .net framework is up to date. Goto
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa569263.aspx
and click on the install it now button
Another is maybe the windows installer is out of date so goto
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8483
and update to the latest version
This is a lengthy one if it does work. You will want to disable all non-essential tasks when the computer boots
1. Press the Windows + R keys simultaneously.
2. In the Run window that appears, type “msconfig” without the quotes and click OK.
3. In the System Configuration window, click on the Startup tab.
4. Click the Disable all button.
5. Click on the Services tab.
6. Click on the checkbox next to “Hide all Microsoft services”, which will remove all of the Microsoft services from the Services list.
7. Click on the Disable all button.
8. Click OK.
Once the computer restarts then you can try running the glyph installer again. If it works then yay! but it also means there is something conflicting with it and you will have to re-enable a few services at a time to try and figure out what the hell is going on. This means multiple restarts until you find the culprit. If it doesnt work then just re-enable everything again and restart. Maybe try the above one as a last resort.
Also, you sir are a shining light in the gaming community. Receiving an honest and helpful answer kinda shocked me. I was expecting nothing but trolling. So thanks for that too.
huh its the weirdest things that fix odd issues lol. No idea why it worked but why look a gift horse in the mouth right?
Glad you got it working though and have fun in the beta :D
The user I'm currently using does have admin rights, yet it somehow wasn't enough for the installer to work. If the user you're currently logged in isn't the "main" admin and you're experiencing this problem, I suggest trying this simple step first. Cheers.
