Customizing the Body

Will we eventually be able to customize the body of our characters? Seems kind of limiting to only be able to mess with the head/hair.

I think we've come to expect too much from character customization. I mean, I'm totally for it and prefer it - even I have a game that I compare any and all customization options of games to and everything keeps falling short and that game is Champions Online. Yeah, it's kind of an ugly game to look at - but the amount of options and customization of your Champion has not been matched since; a close battle was found in Aion: Tower of Eternity. Still don't know which one I like more.

I hope they do allow more customization before launch. Adjusting the body sliders is just another way of making your character individual and unique among a sea of like-minded MMO players. If there's one thing I hate in online gaming its seeing a bunch of other characters that look too similar and even identical to mine.

Now that I've seen games that have raised the Character Creation bar through the roof, I know whats possible - and expect to see it from every modern game. If you're going to go for it; go big! Amiright?

My guess in Black Gold that is just going to show on loading screens or when you are alone. Probably things are more standardized when everyone is running around. still cool though

WOW, this makes me really excited for Black Desert now, I'm a big fan for in-depth character customization. Plus, it is also hilarious to see other people have abominations walking around. :')

Any way to stay up-to-date with that game? Like some email notification system?

Black Desert's combat has me more itnerested then anything else. Deep character customization is cool too but having a true action combat system (that tera tried and failed imo) is what I am most looking forward too.

I was confused about Black Desert...I thought it was BLACK GOLD - which doesnt look as interesting. Damn why are they allowed to be named so alike??

I read up on the wiki. It is interesting how the developer is trying to forego having NA/EU publishers and do it all on their own - retaining complete control. That tells me they either don't know what they are doing or really believe in their product.
